If possible, as you gain expertise, would you mind updating your weblog with more details? It can be really very helpful for me.resumedockethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10153635754048975248noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9620948.post-20775958592444185702009-06-16T18:15:44.195-07:002009-06-16T18:15:44.195-07:00On another topic entirely, Andrew, please feel fre...On another topic entirely, Andrew, please feel free to take a look at my comments in your recent SDTimes article regarding the Micro Focus acquisition.

---

Just in case they don't post them, I've reprinted them here:

Andrew, I have some questions/comments for you:

1) As Microfocus hasn't completed its acquisition of Borland yet (in fact, there's a rival bid at $1.20/share), don't you think it's premature to expect them to communicate a go-forward strategy regarding how they will integrate the Compuware and Borland tools into their business?

2) Are you aware that the primary software that was acquired from Compuware was QADirector, TestPartner, QALoad, and DevPartner? Optimal Trace was a relatively recent acquisition, and File-AID C/S was never more than an occasional add-on to Quality sales, and was not part of the acquisition.

3) Regarding Silk, were you aware that the Compuware tools (particularly in the functional area) were often rated better in several analyst assessments over the past few years (e.g. - Ovum, Forrester, etc)?

4) Did you attempt to contact Microfocus?

I'll be honest -- in my opinion, your statements on this topic seem amateurish and uninformed, perhaps relying on out-of-date third party summaries rather than any recent direct research on your part.Jimnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9620948.post-44626374573184206602009-05-26T21:39:42.597-07:002009-05-26T21:39:42.597-07:00I will visit this blog for more information keep u...I will visit this blog for more information keep updated.Good Job about Programming language.Password Recoveryhttp://www.pst-password-recovery.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9620948.post-50861270801575018552009-05-22T01:25:05.916-07:002009-05-22T01:25:05.916-07:00Great introduction to the Fan programming language...Great introduction to the Fan programming language - one I will definitely go and check out!Benhttp://bensjavaspot.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9620948.post-62533221732339325722009-05-21T16:39:50.128-07:002009-05-21T16:39:50.128-07:00If by strong-typing, you mean static-typing, then ...If by strong-typing, you mean static-typing, then no, Groovy does not have it....even with type declarations.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9620948.post-50567487502463938172009-05-21T16:04:26.110-07:002009-05-21T16:04:26.110-07:00It is a great article and thanks to your article I...It is a great article and thanks to your article I found Fan I'm playing with it on Intellij IDEA plugin and works very good and the language is Awesome!.
